New Play-set Has Arrived!!! **Some Assembly Required**: Our new play-set is finally here, and we are looking for a few hands to help put it together. If interested, please show up at the playground area on Saturday, Sept 6 at 9 am. Any questions, contact Greg Hesselink or Mark Eisenga.

Nursery is available year-round downstairs for children ages 0 - 3 years old. 

Children’s Church (for children age 3 - Kindergarten) is available Sept - May  in the basement during the worship service. Children are dismissed to their class following the children's message. 
 

Sunday School classes are available for kids 4 yrs old - 5th grade from 10:40 am - 11:30 am starting in the sanctuary (when the bell rings).

Catechism classes are available for Middle School and High School students from 10:40 am - 11:30 am as directed below:

• Middle School (6th-8th grade) downstairs in the MS Youth Room.
• High School (9th-12th grade) in the youth building (NE corner of church property)

We will be looking at “Discipleship: The Study” by Ray Vander Laan. This is a video-led series with participant guides. Please contact Sandy Rice to reserve a book.

Discipleship: The Study -by Ray Vander Laan

Imagine that God gave humanity a clear map for how to follow Him: The Bible. God’s people took that map and learned all about it—its history, its various languages. Many could even use that map to win arguments. But what if, instead of actually following the map, humanity was content to simply learn about it. What if, for all of our knowledge, we never took a single step on the journey?

In RVL Discipleship: The Study, join renowned teacher and Bible Scholar Ray Vander Laan as he examines what it means to be a follower of Christ through the cultural, historical, and otherwise contextual lens of Scripture. The Study is a four-season video Bible study for small groups and individuals to consider the question: what did it mean to be one of the original disciples of Jesus, and what does that mean for us today?

Season 1:
Jesus’ original disciples really knew their Bible. As modern-day followers of Jesus, it is vitally important that we value Scripture in the same way. Season 1 of The Study outlines how we are meant to interact with the Text: 
1)    approaching it from the context in which it was written; 
2)    exploring how Jesus used the Scriptures in His teaching;
3)    understanding how His followers were meant to be changed by what they learned;
4)    identifying the major paradigm that ties the whole Bible together.
